The Lavery real estate team serves the firm’s clients in various real estate and commercial transactions and its lawyers work closely with other lawyers of the firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, construction, environment and land-use planning.
Louis-Martin Dubé has twenty-five years of experience in his practice area, acquired at large national law firms and a major Canadian financial institution. He advises and represents real estate owners, institutions, developers, pension funds and asset managers, lenders and large-space users in a broad range of real estate acquisition, development, financing and leasing transactions. He provides counsel and services notably in transactions of purchase, sale and financing of office buildings, shopping centres, industrial assets and residential complexes. He also represents owners in all aspects of real property ownership, including development, management and leasing.
Louis-Martin Dubé is a frequent speaker on current real estate law issues: for more than ten years he has co-hosted the case law review presented annually at the Canadian Bar Association. He is also a member of the Quebec Bar standing committee on secured transactions and is recognized in The Canadian Legal LEXPERT® Directory, since the 2010 edition, among lawyers repeatedly recommended in property development.
