Élise Martel joined Lavery's team as a student in 2025 and is completing a cooperative internship there during the winter term. She is currently pursuing a cooperative Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) at the University of Sherbrooke.

As part of her studies, she has been involved as a tutor and as a member of various committees. Additionally, she had the opportunity to participate in a clinical activity at the Court of Québec under the mentorship of Honourable Judge Lucie Joncas.

Committed to improving access to justice, Élise completed one of her cooperative internships at a non-profit organization providing legal information to citizens.
