Profile

Émie Dubuc is part of our Litigation and Dispute Resolution group. She practises mainly in commercial and civil litigation.

Émie holds a certificate in business administration from the Université du Québec en Outaouais (2013). She obtained her Licence in Civil Law through the University of Ottawa’s cooperative program in 2019 and completed her articling in 2020. In her first year of study in civil law at the University of Ottawa, she landed a position as research assistant in constitutional law with professor and former minister, Benoît Pelletier.

Since 2022, she has authored a fascicle on applications for judicial review in administrative law with JurisClasseur Québec.

Mandates

  • Representation of housing cooperatives and non-profit housing organizations before the Administrative Housing Tribunal in some 30 cases involving behavioural, health and non-payment of rent issues, among others.
  • Various access to information mandates before the Commission d'accès à l’information.
  • Representation mandates before the Court of Québec and the Superior Court of Québec in civil and commercial matters.
