Catherine Fortin-Laurin is part of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group, where she works mainly in commercial and civil litigation. She counsels and represents her clients in commercial litigation, in the areas of construction, shareholder disputes, insurance and class actions, in particular. She also has extensive experience in injunctions of all kinds, including Anton Piller orders, and regularly acts as an independent supervising solicitor for the execution of such orders.
She assists her clients by providing strategic support and representation before any Québec court, including the Court of Appeal, and in arbitration. She is involved in the business community and has given several conferences on insurance law, liability, real estate law and construction law, for various professionals, including real estate brokers and claims adjusters.
