He is currently completing his Bachelor of Law at Laval University, as well as a microprogram in Japanese language. He will go to the University of Montpellier in fall of 2023 as part of a student exchange program.

During his studies, he worked in the Bureau de coordination des mandats horizontaux in the ministère des Transports of Quebec, thus training him in public law.

Involved, Idir will be a member of the Comité Avocats sans frontières Canada of Laval University for a third consecutive year, in which he holds the position of president. During the last winter semester, he was also a volunteer at the Bureau d’Information Juridique at Laval University.
