Carl M. Ravinsky practices primarily in securities, taxation, mergers and acquisitions and financing in the natural resources sector. He has served on the boards of directors of a number of junior listed companies operating in mining and petroleum exploration and development.
 
Mr. Ravinsky has written articles on corporate law and corporate governance and has taught tax law at McGill University's Career and Management and Graduate Studies Administration Department. Additionally, he was a member of the editorial group of the Revised Model Stock Purchase Agreement Task Force, established by the Mergers and Acquisitions Committee, Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, which published the "Model Stock Purchase Agreement with Commentary" in July 2010.
 
Mr. Ravinsky was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 1980 and the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1986.
