Montreal, July 19, 2010 – Lavery is pleased to welcome Ms. Karine Pelletier to its Quebec City office’s Business Law practice group. Ms. Pelletier will mainly represent corporate clients in the field of transactional law, particularly in areas related to commercial transactions and mergers and acquisitions.

Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2006, Ms. Pelletier received her law degree (LL.B.) from the Université Laval in 2005. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and of the Jeune Chambre de commerce de Québec. Before joining Lavery, she worked in a Quebec-based major law firm.
