Since her admission to the Québec Bar, Sophie Prégent has been a member of the administrative law team within which she practices mainly in the areas of environmental, energy and natural resources law as well as aboriginal law and land use planning. She also works on penal law matters.

During her studies, she received achievement awards in municipal law and had the privilege of gaining work experience by assisting two judges of the Superior Court. She is on the Dean’s Honors List of the Faculty of Law of the Université de Montréal.
