BIOGRAPHY
Associate
Serge Bourque is a specialist in competition law and derivatives.
Mr. Bourque is the author of numerous business law articles and he is a co-author of three works, entitled: La nouvelle loi sur la concurrence (1989), Loi sur la concurrence annotée (2000) and Manuel de droit de la concurrence (2004), published by Les Éditions Yvon Blais inc.
From 1974 to 1986, Mr. Bourque taught business law at the University of Ottawa, as a visiting professor. His lectures covered securities, international commerce, and the regulation of financial services, as well as competition law. In 2003, he resumed teaching at the University of Ottawa in the fields of international commercial law and competition law.
Mr. Bourque has held the positions of Director, Corporate Directorate in Ottawa, Executive Secretary of the Royal Commission of Inquiry on Corporate Mergers and Legal Counsel to the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.
