Pierre Beaudoin is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial

Lawyers.

 

He practises primarily in the field of labour law, serving a clientele consisting mainly of major employers, to whom he provides a broad range of services involving the negotiation of collective agreements, accreditation proceedings, grievance arbitration, civil litigation and proceedings relating to acquisitions and dispositions of businesses.

 

During the 1970s, he was involved in the drafting of the first Act respecting Health services and social services and related statutes. He mastered this area of the law and, over the years, has represented numerous health establishments, particularly regarding issues concerning the use of professional resources within such establishments.

 

Mr. Beaudoin also represents businesses in civil and commercial litigation

matters.

 

He is a member of the Groupe Arbitrage et Médiation Thémis [Thémis arbitration and mediation group], an organization that offers access to lawyers endowed with solid expertise in alternative dispute resolution

methods.

 

Mr. Beaudoin was featured in a special supplement to the Journal Économique de Québec in 2004 in which he was named as one of the 150 business leaders of the Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches

regions.

 

He has worked as a jurist at the National Assembly of Quebec (1967 to 1970) and as a law professor at the graduate level at Université Laval.
