BIOGRAPHY
Paralegal
Katherine Snow has been a paralegal in the Litigation Group at Lavery since 1993 and her forte is assisting senior lawyers handling major litigation, particularly class actions. She participates as an integral member of the team in all aspects of trial preparation including formulating a trial plan, preparing witnesses (interviewing witnesses and preparing for depositions), managing documents (investigative research and analysis), working with experts (reviewing and summarizing experts’ reports, and establishing chronologies and key fact patterns), and managing and coordinating the electronic file database. Ms. Snow also attends trials at which she performs the very helpful work of accessing the database to monitor and verify testimony and assisting in the preparations for cross-examinations.
In the course of her work on the management and coordination of class action files, Ms. Snow has had the experience of participating in Canadian-American joint defence groups while providing research and documentation to support motions and proceedings and working on the preparation and exchange of initial disclosures between American and Canadian defendants and plaintiffs.
