BIOGRAPHY

Partner
Josée Dumoulin practices exclusively in pension and benefits law since 1997. She advises employers and pension fund managers on all legal issues in this area, including pension plan administration, statutory compliance, changes to benefit plans, pension plan splits and mergers, contribution holidays, use of surplus assets, retirees’ rights, and changes to benefit programs. She also represents clients before the courts, specialized arbitrators and the Tribunal administratif du Québec in pension litigation matters.

 

In addition, Ms. Dumoulin works closely with members of the firm’s Business Law Group on the pension and benefits aspects involved in various corporate transactions.

 

Articles and presentations
Ms. Dumoulin has published many articles in her field, and is frequently sought as a speaker by various organizations such as the Canadian Institute, Federated Press and Insight Information Co. Her most recent articles and presentations have dealt with the following topics:
