Partner
Since the start of his career, Guy Lemay has practised in the areas of civil and commercial litigation and insurance law. He is one of the first partners of the firm to have dedicated a large part of his practice to employment law in general, and labour law in particular, as well as pension plans.
He pleads before the Superior Court, the Quebec Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Canada and various provincial and federal administrative tribunals.
He also has broad experience in class action suits, having acted for the defence in more than 25 cases, several of which were national in scope.
By virtue of his extensive experience as corporate defence counsel, Mr. Lemay has in-depth knowledge of the various problems faced by corporations and the means for their proven and effective resolution. In particular, he is frequently retained as a legal adviser and expert on corporate policy and business ethics.
Mr. Lemay is recognized as a leading practitioner who is rated as "repeatedly recommended" in the areas of class action litigation and labour and employment law by the Canadian Legal LEXPERT® and Best Lawyers directories.
