François Martel practises in the fields of real estate, financing, and financial services. He is equally skilled at providing legal services in the areas of real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and financial services.

Mr. Martel has extensive experience in real estate transactions of all kinds, particularly in the following areas: financing, acquisitions and sales of real estate, drafting of agreements involving property rights, title examinations, title opinions, and financing of real estate projects.

He has acted as legal counsel in numerous files involving the acquisition or sale of assets or shares, and for franchisors with respect to the drafting of franchise agreements and various other types of commercial contracts.

Mr. Martel represents several financial institutions, lenders and entrepreneurs in commercial lending files, asset financings and real estate financings involving security on both moveable and immoveable property.
