Emil Vidrascu is the Co-Chair of our Commercial Litigation Group. He represents parties involved in complex and strategic commercial litigation before the Courts and in private arbitration. His practice mainly consists of contractual disputes and shareholder and oppression remedies. He also advises business corporations for preventive purposes in the context of commercial transactions.

Recently, he successfully represented a Canadian payment processor in several major payment processing disputes with international banks and merchants. He has also been successful in representing the distributors of a major Canadian telecommunications corporation in a contractual dispute relating to the interpretation of a distributorship agreement.

He has successfully acted as well for a Chinese import-export corporation in a complex contractual dispute with a Canadian manufacturer of industrial glass. He has been actively involved as a consultant for the Romanian government in the reform of the Romanian Civil Code further to which a new Civil Code was adopted in Romania in 2009. Since 2003, he has also been a professor at the Quebec Bar School where he teaches Contract Law.
